UAE Bans Israel from Participating in Upcoming Air Show Amid Tensions
Abu Dhabi —The United Arab Emirates has reportedly barred Israel from participating in the upcoming international air show scheduled for November, following recent Israeli airstrikes on Qatar.

According to a report published by The Times of Israel, UAE authorities informed Israel’s defence establishment that Israeli companies linked to the defence sector would not be allowed to take part in the exhibition. While the UAE government did not provide an official explanation, Israeli officials believe the decision is directly linked to the September 9 airstrike on Doha.

Earlier this month, Israel launched an air raid on Qatar’s capital, reportedly targeting senior figures of the Palestinian group Hamas. However, Hamas leadership escaped unharmed.

In response to the attack, the UAE also summoned the Israeli ambassador, signalling rising diplomatic tensions in the region.
